Update
BALTIMORE — Baltimore Ravens defensive coordinator Don “Wink” Martindale said last week his son often alerts him to stories from media outlets that identify top head-coaching candidates for the offseason. “Ty sends me all those lists and gets mad at the ones I’m not on,” Martindale said Thursday with a laugh. “I told him it doesn’t really matter until you get a call.” Martindale and Ravens’ offensive coordinator Greg Roman might both receive calls this week. While Baltimore turns its attention to the playoffs, several other teams will begin or intensify their searches for new head coaches Monday, one day after the NFL regular season came to a close.
